Informing HMRC of NEST and SIPP contributions

Options
In the 23/24 tax year my wife's taxable earnings were over £60k but her NEST and SIPP contributions keep her out of higher rate tax,
Does she need to inform HMRC of the NEST contributions?
What's the simplest way to do this?
Will HMRC estimate the NEST and SIPP contributions for 23/24 to be the same as 22/23?

If she has notified them of the 2022-23 contributions then they may well have done yes.

Could she be liable to High Income Child Benefit Charge for 2023-24?

If not she just needs to provide details of the gross contributions made in 2023-24.  And providing an estimate of what she will pay in 2024-25 would probably be worthwhile. Along with her expected (estimated) P60 pay figure for 2024-25.

I assume Nest is the work scheme. So no need to tell hmrc about these contributions. Her company has already done it

Not from a personal perspective though.

Nest will no doubt have claimed the basic rate relief but at the moment it is still the taxpayer's responsibility to claim any higher rate relief due.

    Thanks for responding.
    No child benefit issues.
It bothers me that HMRC know about these contributions because they added basic tax relief to the NEST pot, but they don't record this against the taxpayer's account. So the taxpayer has to inform HMRC of something that HMRC already knows about, in order to pay the correct amount of tax.
