I’ve two credit cards I’m dealing with.

Forgive my ignorance.  My question is are the following companies debt collection agencies?

Moorcroft have been super with one.

Lowell - slightly weird, said a third party debt collection company may take over, when I kind of thought they were one?

Moorcroft is a debt collection agency, they don`t buy debts.

Lowell is a debt purchasing company, they do buy debts.

Lowell engage collection companies, such as Moorcroft, to manage the accounts they buy on their behalf.

Aha thank you, here’s hoping it goes to Moorcroft.

I made an independent token payment of £20 to Lowell in keeping similar amount to all debtors at the moment and thought some of their letter wording strange. I also noted L!!!! had made an error with the amount due 😊
