A recent study showed that the cost of running a vehicle has risen by almost 20% since 2019 and yet the HMRC allowance for using a personal vehicle on business hasn't changed in 20 years.

Stop making your car available for business use is the simplest solution. If the company wants you to drive somewhere on company business then they need to provide a car for you to use.0

Ask your employer for an additional lump sum vehicle allowance. Will be taxable though.0
