Assignment of deed

Options
Hello all,

Back in 2009 I declared bankruptcy which was discharged 12 months later.
I am now in an inheritance dispute with siblings and I have prove that the trustee in Bankruptcy is not interested in the property which i was beneficiary too at time of B but I didnt declare it as it was still unsure who were the beneficiaries and still isnt.

I have contacted the TinB who told me that he is retired and no longer interested in this claim, plus it over 6 years, all papers destroyed etc.

However, my solicitors want to make this official and want an official deed of assignment completed by the TinB, who probably has no problem doing that.

My issue is the cost of this and solicitiors are charging 2k, which i really cannot afford.

Anyone know if this can be done cheaper/myself?

Thanks ALOT
