Looking to get Electrician Training / Certification

Options

I have made the decision to invest time and effort into myself by pursuing training in the field of electrician work.

I am particularly drawn to the Electrician profession due to my interest in the field, coupled with some prior experience in the low-voltage sector.

Although I did not attend school in the UK and lack formal training in this area, I hold a bachelor's degree from Europe and have been a resident here for almost 15 years, contributing regularly through taxes and national insurance.

I would greatly appreciate any guidance on reputable colleges or courses that offer accredited training. I am specifically seeking programs that provide genuine value and skills, rather than being solely profit-driven. Additionally, I am interested in exploring financial assistance options that may be available for this endeavor.

Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

Start by talking to your local council, or checking their website to see if they offer any sort of assistance with funding. Some do, but it varies considerably across the country.

Also have a chat with your nearest adult education college.
