If you got a text message or email from the Metropolitan Police between 4pm and 6pm on Wednesday 17 April – or you get a letter in the next few days – don't ignore it. You may need to take action to protect yourself from fraud.

"Texts and emails were ONLY sent between 4pm and 6pm on Wednesday 17 April. If you receive a text or email outside of this window claiming to be from the Met Police, it could be a scam and should be ignored."And if you received a text or e-mail within those times and date, claiming to be from them, it could also be a scam?1

The problem with the title is that it reads like a general piece of advice that will actually help fraudsters impersonating the police
A better title would be "got a text, email or letter from met police? Please read this article to decide if it is genuine"0
