London Marathon Underground query

I'll be travelling down to London on Saturday to see a show. I'll be staying overnight in a hotel in Marylebone (near the Edgeware Road Station). The following day, I'll be going to see the Frameless Immersive Art Experience in the morning (a 15-minute walk from the hotel). Now is going to be quieter to walk back to Edgeware Road station, or will travelling from Marble Arch station not be that busy? I'll be needing to get back to Liverpool Street Station.
Many thanks

Won't you have a bag to pick up at the hotel? In which case travelling back from Edgware Road (Circle or H&C direct to Liverpool Street) makes sense. You mention the marathon in your title so presumably you are travelling this Sunday. I wouldn't think that Marble Arch would be particularly affected by the crowds so if you are travelling with just a toothbrush and don't need to go back to Marylebone you could travel from there (Central line direct to Liverpool Street).1

I'll only have a small backpack with overnight stuff. I'll be travelling down this Saturday, and staying overnight. I don't know why, but I thought the Marathon ended near Marble Arch.0

The route goes nowhere near Marble Arch, you can see the course details here https://www.tcslondonmarathon.com/the-event/the-course
