This is a month old and I received my answer back then. No need for any more responses and I wish we could close our own threads.
When I joined, I needed a name. The forum members gave one to me...I am INAN

Of course you have to ask.
Threads always remain open unless there is a specific request to close by OP or thread is considered contentious. Forum policy for many years. Threads are not just for benefit of the OP, other Forum users may find them usefulIf you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales2 -
You totally missed my point. Shouldn't as in wouldn't have to if we were able to close ourselves.
Closing, not deleting, still leaves the thread available to read and learn from.
