Morning all
Its very quiet on here this morning hope everyone is having a lovely lay in.
Dry and sunny here which is so lovely to see, wm will be earning its keep today, OH has his work clothes in atm and I have stripped the beds so the bedding can go on after.
Dogs will get a good walk this morning and then I have a lovely bit of roast beef for dinner tonight will do yorkshires roasties and veg with it, mum will come for dinner too which will be nice.
Our new neighbours seem really nice it’s a young couple with a little girl of about 4 and a baby in arms they are so quiet compared to the old neighbours let’s hope it stays that way 😃
Beds to re-make later but that’s OH job 😬 I shall be busy cooking the dinner (also I hate that job) I need to run the hoover over but the house is fairly tidy.
Have good days all and take care xx

Morning - thanks for starting us off @Chrisca - I was hoping that someone would do it! I suspect that nmlc has left us, she last logged on 15 March when she said she had a two week holiday. We can share the starting each morning.
The farmer's market yesterday was almost out of everything by the time I arrived yesterday. At least the big blue recycling dumpsters had been emptied so I was able to get rid of my stuff. Then I took away general rubbish to the tip, my new soup was, inevitably, not the same as the one from last week so I added a chunk of Marmite to it. The first bowlful I ate to sprinkled with nutritional yeast which perked it up more, it's perfectly good though not perfectly excellent. Still, it'll get eaten and enjoyed.
After a decidedly iffy day with dry sunny periods and some wet cloudy ones, suddenly in the mid-afternoon it became like a toddler storm which raged through for half an hour. Horizontal sharp rain and low dense mist, it was such a contrast and so unexpected too.
At the start of April I decided to record every single spend I did, already I'm shocked by it. Mind you, I have added in the cost of my new laptop, I'll probably remove it as it's on my credit card which will get paid off in full next month. That'll make it look better and make me feel better too.
I have no plans for today, let's see what it throws up. No chance of getting the grass cut yet, I may have to buy a strimmer at some point if the rainy weather continues. I'm doing a new exercise which seems to have already made a difference so I have higher hopes for my mobility. Last night I watched a programme about Estonia, it looks spectacular so perhaps I can visit it one day. There's a great wee patisserie in Glasgow which has an Estonian owner, he and I chat a lot when I go in, I'll pick his brains when I'm down next week.
Now I'm rambling so will finish. I hope that everyone has a great day.

Morning folks and thanks CHRISCA. A nice sunny start which didn't last. Now it's cloudy and none too warm. Light rain forecast for tonight.
In view of the forecast the washing is now over the airer upstairs to dry. Lunch has been sorted - fished some sliced beef in gravy out of the freezer and an assortment of veg has been prepped. There should be enough of everything left to warm up tomorrow. Then shopping with DS this afternoon. He has been all hands on deck every spare minute this week trying to get his house sorted ready for a refurb, thanks to the spiteful evicted tenant leaving it in such a mess. He's lost count of the number of tip runs he has done and more to come when he starts ripping up all the ruined carpets. I've offered to help where I can but he says the jobs are too physical just yet until the actual decorating can start.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, poorly loved ones, sad or lonely. Take care all and stay safe xx

Afternoon! I've been playing games and, predicatably, gardening. I've opened and added the ex strawberry compost to the bed, five more bags will sit over winter I think for next year to be fully rotted.Last nights quiz was very enjoyable although OH didn't come because he was off out for a 'couple of drinks' after we went out for breakfast, and again predicatbly, was way too sloshed to come to the quiz. Never mind, still nice to catch up and we came equal third. W're having freezer surprise for supper with chips, I discovered the air fryer does them in ten minutes which is about as long as the chicken curry needs t defrost and cook so no need to wait for hours, which means more gardening
All hail the air fryer!
Izzy, I did laught at your few, lots and too many potsI think I have the same problem, but with buying plants
bella, fingers crossed for makign ti through the week unscathed! Gers, that's a goodly amount of chores ot have done, I hope the weather plays a bit more ball for you. Ruby, huzzah for good new neighbours! never did hear how nannys went. TA, hope the shpping went well. Florence, maybe take a break for a day or two? Take care all, and thinking happy weather thoughts for Coxy!
