They won't give you cash, and without a reciept you might be given store cred it for the value of the item if it is in the sale (ie, less than £24.99)Debt free since 2014 - now saving for a mortgage deposit :heart2:
This time I'm on top of it! We live and learn :coffee:0 -
does it matter the box is slightly damaged.. ie some of the image has peeled off with the wrapping paper??
so will i get a £24.99 gift card... it aint in the sale0 -
The only way you can tell is to bring it in and ask them.
I doubt they would have a problem with some minor tears on the packaging as I have been sold stuff from Argos that had major damage to the box (full price an all!).0 -
even with the damage it should be fine, especially at this time of year, you should get a gift card refund for current selling price.0

Someone bought us a rice cooker, and it got put in the cupboard, didnt use it for about a year. After a year or so, i took it out to use it and it wouldnt work.
It was from Argos, so took it back. The lady said, its an old model, beacuse we dont sell it anymore. explained to her what happend, and she took it back for full price and gave us a voucher. Argos seem to be very good at taking stuff back.Nothing ever lasts forever...0 -
thanks i took it back and got a gift card for £250
