tax

my self-assessment says 10396 pounds state pension I have been paid 10512.84 up to the 10h of April or 10308.99 paid to the 3nd of April this dose not make sense

paid 19th of April 23 116.49 then 203.85  a week to last payment to day 10th paid back words up to the 5th April

    Without being rude Patsy, myself and the poster above dont seem to understand the issue, you may want to have another go at explaining what you think the issue is.

    £10308.99 to 3rd April plus £87.36 (£29.12/day for 4th 5th and 6th April) =£10396.35.

    Pension is taxed when you earn it not when it's paid

    Subject to the following 2 exemptions, the taxable amount is the amount of pension accruing in the tax year. This may be different from the amount actually paid in a tax year.
