URGENT- how to export 'contacts' from outlook?

As i've been made redundant i hjust found out i have to give my laptop back tonight.
I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to export my address book from outlook (just the contacts section) to another email server -ie hotmail. or even just putting it into an excell spreadsheet for future reference??
This is really urgent so i'd really appreciate your help.
Im also putting this thread in the Arms incase anyone there can help me

Sorry to hear about the job.
in outlook choose the 'File' menu.
Then select "import / export" follow the instructions to export what you want to excel.Ever stop to think and forget to start again?0
