I think it is to do with calling the Make Me A Winner competition, https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6240408/make-me-a-winner-general-chat#latest, where you start a call then you start a 2nd call and a few seconds after starting the 1st. Its a feature for making conference calls on most smartphones.
