HMRC portal says tax paid is correct for 2023-24

I retired one month into the 23-24 tax year and now have a civil service pension. I believe that have paid about £3k too much tax, but the HMRC portal says it is correct. There is no access to a detailed breakdown other than for 24-25 (where the estimate is only 50% of the sum I paid up to end March 2024 - so likely to be incorrect too!)
Is this likely to be a blip, which will sort itself out as refunds are calculated over the next couple of months. It's so frustrating that the breakdown for all years is not visible on the personal account.

Surely the monthly payments are available online?0

Detailed breakdown for all income streams should be showing in "View and print Income Tax and employment history", "View 2023 to 2024 tax year summary".The statement about paying the correct tax for the just past year does not normally show until well into the new year.0

Thanks all. Re-checked and (several of) you are correct about it not showing yet. There is a hperlink to 23-24 data, but I had not spotted that this in fact took me to the 22-23 page. I will be patient for a few weeks to see what naturally sorts itself out.0

Employers have until 19 April to file their final payroll submissions so I cannot imagine HMRC have started their annual review process just yet.Just60 said:I retired one month into the 23-24 tax year and now have a civil service pension. HMRC can take months to check your tax liability for the previous year. If I was you I’d follow this up yourself rather than waiting otherwise you’ll be out of pocket for a while. There’s an online link on the HMRC site.0
