PHI & company car question.

My husband has been on PHI for nearly 4 years. For all of this time he has kept hus company car. The car was on a 4 year lease, which ended last month, so the car was collected. During this time he was offered a car allowance if he sent the car back early. We didn't, just because it was easier to keep. Now the car has gone back, he asked if he would be allowed car allowance (yes, I know its cheeky as he is still on PHI). The HR person that offered the allowance has left the company. The new HR person has said he is not entitled if on PHI. I am grateful for this insurance, we he did partly contribute to, but I don't know whether to question this again. His contract says salary plus filly expensed company car. His PHI is 70% of his wage. Should I question or just keep quiet? Thanks for any advice

Absolutely no harm in asking them to confirm where in the company's terms of employment/details of the PHI scheme it clarifies the point, especially as (a) he's had a company car until now and (b) [name of ex-employee] offered him a car allowance in lieu of a company car.marionsteve said:My husband has been on PHI for nearly 4 years.
