HSBC Mortgage Process and Broker

Advice please,
So broker has put an application in with HSBC, credit searches were done before the valuation. Thinking once the valuation was done, process was nearly to the point of mortgage offer. How was wrong was i the amount of info the underwriter wanted was a bit ott, to the stage i was sending duplicate information and answering questions twice (dont know if they had two teams working on it). Anyway this aftenoon the broker emailed me and said all documents you have provided have now been seen and satisfied by the underwriter.
Dont know whether that is a postive thing now ? or whether they might come back for my leg measurements lol
Thanks

I submitted extra documents to HSBC (via broker) on Tuesday 26/03. Offer documents received from HSBC on Saturday 30/04 (Friday was a bank holiday). It's an excruciating wait, but hopefully not too much longer for you.
Now I'm waiting on conveyancer. A whole week has passed and the only update I've had is that they've ordered searches and requested a contract. Not sure whether to start packing yet or not, need to coordinate with notice on tenancy and new job.Debt Free: 01/01/2020

Yeah i am in the same situation as you regarding tennacy, so i am trying to balance that with the searches and convey report which are ready to paied for once this comes through, i got until the end of June here, if it cant be completed then i may see if i can extend it a month on my tennacy but not 100% sure if the landlord will agree, see what this month bring brings before asking the question.0
