Hello everyone
Me and my partner have early bird reserved a new home with exchange estimated to be end of May.
Completion is not until December at the earliest.
My partner has just been offered a new job with increased salary and benefits.
Our mortgage lender (DIP stage) requires 3 months in current role for the mortgage.
As the mortgage wouldn't officially begin until completion will it affect us if he changes jobs now? The downside to new builds is exchanging approx 6 months before completion.
Many thanks

should be fine - but talk to your mortgage company to be sure.0
