15 hours and 30 hours childcare

Hi,
can anyone help. i am finding the process of trying to work out what the 15/30 hours childcare equates to at my nursery difficult to ascertain. They are saying the need the code first and then apply it to the invoice. I would have thought this was quite standard and a transparent matrix on how much discount you get ?
does anyone have experience of this. I am trying to budget for next year when I send two kids to nursery and trying to work out what the 30 and 15 hour equates to in £terms.

It depends on whether you are working and earnings within the set limits or on benefits
The code is given when your claim has been accepeted. That way your nursery knows you are entitled to the free paces.
