Missing with profits pension
Comments

I spoke with Pensions Advice and they informed me if I had a with profits pension that I might lose the final bonus.Unless it is a conventional with profits plan, you would not lose the final bonus. The final bonus accrues as you go along and is included in the transfer value. If you compare the current value with the transfer value, you should find the transfer value is higher (unless it is a conventional with profits plan).
I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.1 -
Thanks again keep up the good work, your knowledge on pensions is really interesting but way over my head 😂
Only some general knowledge - dunstonb is an IFA and I imagine must have dealt with such pensions as yours (and the Pru) many times over the years.
