It's a long time since I started the Daily thread!
I'm off to visit a friend on her smallholding later, after pegging the last bits of holiday laundry out to dry in the sun.
Hope you all have a good day x

Morning all. Am I the first one up today?
I'm up early as I'm awaiting a phone call from the Dealership in St Albans to say the car I paid a deposit on is ready for collection. They wanted to rush it through so that it counts as one of their March sales so had somebody service it yesterday and tidy up a couple of bits on the bodywork. I'm part exchanging mine so just need to contact the insurance company when I get the phone call and then I'm good to go.
We had a great day out with the family yesterday at Bucks Railway Centre. Lots of train rides, big and small, plus things for the children and a museum for DH to wander round. Only downside was the wind, which made it a bit cold at times.
Just seen I've cross posted with Floss so ignore the one I started!
Have a super Easter Saturday everyone and don't forget to put your clocks forward tonight!

Morning folks and thanks FLOSS. Another glorious start here with blue sky and sunshine and set to reach the dizzy heights of 13 deg later.
After two days of skiving I should really catch up on the Friday Tidy today but I object to cleaning at weekends so may just pretend I haven't seen the bits and the dust! I already started making inroads into my Easter eggs and sweeties from the kids last night. I am a lost cause when faced with chocolate! No grocery shopping today as DS and his DP are away at a wedding so I stopped off for a few bits on route back from the van yesterday.
Have a lovely Easter folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, poorly loved ones, sad or lonely. Pleased Auntie was ok CAMELOT. Take care all be safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"10 -

Hi everyone,
It's quiet on here today, it reflects how it is here. The family are in Glasgow, they went to a concert featuring Andy from CBeebies yesterday, apparently he went on stage via the aisle they were sitting by and Esben turned to Laura and said, "I didn't realise it was going to be the real live Andy".
My plans for today are pretty relaxed, I want to make some no sugar granola (dates add the sweetness and it's a family favourite) and maybe a rhubarb and custard traybake that is a recipe in the guardian. My stomach has been behaving itself this week, I've not eaten any meat so today I'll have chicken and see how that goes. I'm looking at the french window as I peak and it is terribly streaky in the som so I shall have a go at that and I also need to water my growing houseplant family, oh and I need to wash the throws that protect the pale blue settee when the children and dog are around.
Have a good day.10 -
Morning all
Its actually a beautiful day here 😃 it’s so nice to look out the window and see some sun 🌞 I have got a towel load on the go and another to go in after the washing can go on the line which is such a nice change.
OH is at the boot sale and dd still in bed she got in from work at 11 last night so she needs the sleep. Will get the dogs out later for a good walk and then steak and chips for dinner with garlic mushrooms and tomatoes, I think dd is out for the evening.
Might get round to jet washing the patio later it will soon be time for bbq season 😃 which always reminds me of dear Nels she used to be very invested in our bbq’s and I would often send her photos I do miss her ❤️Have good days all and take care xx
Enjoy the sun if you have it xxx10 -
