Morning folks and thanks GERS.
Total change of plan yesterday and I have just had my first sleep of the season in the caravan. DD rang early doors yesterday morning saying she was going to bring loads of stuff over and get organised for their week here when they arrive on mass later today. (They have been at Primrose Valley since Monday with a big gathering of their dad's family) I am going back home at lunchtime before chaos descends!
It's a beautiful morning with blue sky and sunshine but still feels nippy. i am waiting for it to.get a bit warmer before I resume my stays here. We had the radiators on last night but it took ages to warm up
Have a nice day folks and (HUGS) for all on need. SNOOZER I hope your tests go well. Take care all be safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"10 -

Morning All
First day of the holidays and I wake up early - typical! Still, the fridge has been given a good clean and a sleeping bag DD wants for the little one is in the WM, had to go in the loft to get it.
It was pouring down when I got up but seems to be brightening now, may get the sleeping bag on the line for a while.
Yesterday's calm day at work didn't happen, lots of financial end of year stuff to do and HT asked me to stay on so the newsletter could go out with photos of the day's goings on, ended up being later than a normal day! Once home I got on with some much needed housework.
I was going to visit my elderly Auntie today for a couple of nights but she hasn't been answering her phone, I'm a bit worried about her as it's highly unusual, she always phones back if she doesn't get to the phone in time. I've messaged her son to let him know, hopefully he can shed some light on it later today.
Glad you've got away TA, a change of scenery is always good.
Well done on getting a gardener in SO, surprising what can be done in an hour.
Enjoy your Easter Egg hunt Gers, I'm saving that for Sunday!
Hope everyone is well, have a Good Friday. Take care. XX7 -
Morning all, 4degrees here feeling chilly & cloudy but it was nice and quiet when I took the dog out. A quietish day planned apart from a final tidy ready for tomorrows guests, watch football this afternoon & possibly a quick visit to a sm as DH forgot to get some white wine that he needs for his prawn dish he's cooking tomorrow. The loaf I made yesterday has risen beautifully. There is a recipe for a pesto and pine nut loaf in my bm manual, I have made it once before and gave it to our friends, which was well received but that was a long time ago. I haven't been using the bmaker much - need to get back into itIf I don't get back on over the weekend I hope everyone has a nice Easter break x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Morning everyone
Sunny here this morning - I have washing ready to go outside.
Camelot - our school secretary was stressed too when I popped across to the office yesterday afternoon - too much to do and not enough time. I hope your auntie is ok.
DD will pick me up soon and drop me off at mam and dads with little one. I need to do dads banking and teach mam how to do his medication...we have a new machine to crush his tablets she can hopefully manage. The twisty one they got from the hospital hurts my hands and she would never manage it.
Little one will be here till tomorrow afternoon...her auntie gave her an Easter activity pack so she'll bring that with her. Hopefully it will stay fine and we'll get out for a walk/scoot this afternoon.
Topsy turvy - yes I went to tribunal with PIP and was turned down - well I got a few points for mobility but not enough. Pleased your DD was successful though - I think it just depends who you get on the day.
I'd better get on. Hope everyone has a good day today x
Oh, Snoozer - enjoy your peaceful house!8 -
Morning all
Raining again 🙄🙄 getting fed up with saying it now ! It’s meant to pour down all day, OH can take the dogs out today as I hate walking in the rain.
There are a couple of enamel signs to hang today and then it will be a quick tidy through, we can do a proper clean tomorrow, DD is working late shift today but is then off for the rest of the weekend.
I slept well again last night thanks to the pills I feel so much better for a good nights sleep.
When I was shopping the other day I popped into sainsbugs and got a half price joint of beef which I have frozen I might pop back and get another one and some lamb it’s such a good deal atm.
Not sure about dinner tonight might be bacon egg and chips or a curry will see what we feel like later.
Enjoy your long weekend everyone xx
Have good days all and take care xx7 -

Enjoy your Easter Egg hunt Gers, I'm saving that for Sunday!@Camelot - I hope that all is well with your Auntie. As for egg hunting, I'm practising!@TA - how lovely, a surprise night away sounds great.@Izzy - I admire you for going to the community food waste place on a bank holiday.@Rosy - great to have Easter visitors, the weather may stay nice for you all.@DP1 - I remember activity books from my younger days, little one will have hours of fun.@Ruby - it's so good that the pills are helping you get some rest.Yesterday was mostly fraught for me. The IT network problem turned into a bigger issue. A mis-communication between BT and EE meant that a new SIM for my mobile was not only sent to the wrong address but turned out to be one for the 4G router. That meant that EE disabled the SIM in the router on Wednesday night so I was faced with the possiblity of having no 'proper' network until Tuesday. The happy part of this saga is that when the SIM failed to arrive I complained to EE on Wednesday, the agent sent out a new one which was one for the router and arrived yesterday afternoon. I had two separate hour long phone calls with BT / EE which eventually sorted things out. Router back working and mobile SIM on the way to the correct address.Inbetween I had my meeting then immediately did the action from it so feeling good about that. Didn't manage to get to the exercise session because of all the bother but did extra stuff at home instead. Also roasted some chicken thighs, roasted some peppers, did a washing load and a dishwasher load.

Morning lovelies. Having been cooped up for what seems ages I managed to get out today and the bonus is that it isn't raining, first day this week I think, we had torrential rain and thunder all day yesterday. We've been to the hole in the wall for some cash for the DGC for Easter (I had already bought their eggs ages ago) then went to the local shop for some bits and pieces. We decided that this year we were going to have Easter eggs too so we bought 3, one extra for Dad plus they were on offer ! I'm now home after feeling a bit shaky and sick, felt like the first day out after Covid all over again 😕.
Gers what a palaver, glad you have it sorted. Enjoy the egg hunt.
Camelot hope Auntie is ok and you get your visit.
RedRuby glad the pills are doing the trick.
TA glad you managed to get away for a bit.
Apologies to those I haven't mentioned, my head is sieve like today.
Take care all
nan xx

Hi everyone,
I'm back from my CT scan, all very efficient, my appointment was 9 but they were ahead and I was out of there by five past. The gastroscopy yesterday was just as efficient and the doctor who did it was able to tell me they hadn't found anything concerning. Just need to wait for the results of the CT now.
Camelot I hope your Aunt is ok.
Nanny, enjoy your egg.
Have a good day.8
