ITEM 3: WEBSITE

The website shall be www.planetradio.co.uk/station-list (the “Website”)

ITEM 4: COMPETITION START DATE, END DATE AND ENTRY PERIODS

Start Date: Thursday 28 March 2024 at 4:00pm

End Date: Friday 5 April 2024 at 3:00pm

Any entries received before the Start Date or after the End Date (as stated above) will be invalid but you may still be charged.

We reserve the right to broadcast the Competition at any time throughout each day during the broadcast schedule.

ITEM 5: COMPETITION DETAILS

After the start of the Competition, the prize amount (the “Prize”) will be announced on air. The Prize will be the cash amount that entrants are trying to win.

We reserve the right to announce the Prize at any time during the Competition. We may also advertise the Prize on the respective Station’s Website, social media or via an SMS marketing message or via any other medium at our absolute discretion.

After the Competition has closed, one entrant from all of the valid entries will be selected by automated random draw (the “Draw”). 

If an Entrant fails to answer their phone, refuses to play, or if any fault occurs immediately prior to or during the call and it is not possible to re-establish contact with the Entrant, they will forfeit their chance to win and another Entrant will be selected at random. The decision of the Production team is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 

The entrant who is randomly selected will win the Prize on offer.

The entrant selected may be required to talk to the presenter / programming team, and the call may be recorded and played on-air (assuming there is no breach of these terms and conditions).

ITEM 6: ROUTES OF ENTRY, ENTRY LIMITS, AND COSTS

Entrants are responsible for all costs associated with entering this Competition and Entrants must have permission from the bill payer before entering. Bauer Media is not responsible for any network or technical issues an entrant may experience, which may delay or prevent their participation.

SMS

Entrants can enter the Competition a maximum of 56 times (including free bonus entries) by sending an SMS message starting with the keyword WIN to 63103, 61025, 81215, 64100 or 61054; CASH to 61054 or 63103; YES to 61025, 63103 or 61054; PLAY to 61054 or 63103; or ROCK to 64100. A single SMS entry costs £2.00 (from the UK) + 1 standard network rate message. These messages may be charged outside of any inclusive message bundles.

Entrants can also enter the Competition twice by sending an SMS message starting with the keyword BANK to 61054, 61025, 64100, 81215, 65115, or 63103. Texts starting with BANK cost £10.00 (from the UK) + standard network rate, and for each entry, you will receive five entries plus twenty-five FREE entries.

If the message does not start with a valid keyword, or is not sent to a valid number, it will not be entered. Entrants will receive an automated SMS response to their SMS message confirming their entry. The delivery of this message may be delayed at peak times. 

We reserve the right to run bonus SMS entry incentives throughout the duration of the Competition. These incentives will be communicated via the automated SMS response received to confirm the entry. Where we operate an incentive, the entry limit may change.

ONLINE

Entrants can enter the Competition a maximum of 60 times (including entries included in a bundle) via the Website. 

Entrants are responsible for all costs associated with entering this Competition. A single online entry costs £2.00. Entry bundles may be available at our discretion. The use of a debit or credit card may incur charges from your provider. 

We reserve the right to run bonus entry incentives Online throughout the duration of the Competition. These incentives will be communicated via the Website. Where we operate an incentive, the entry limit may change.

PHONE 

Entrants can also enter the Competition a maximum of 176 times by calling 0330 880 4523, 0330 880 4536, 0330 880 4594, 0330 880 4608, 0330 880 4615, 0330 880 4629, 0330 880 4541, 0330 880 4557, 0330 880 4572, 0330 880 4563, 0330 880 4583 or 0330 880 4682 and following the instructions via the phoneline. Phone calls (from the UK) are charged at standard network rate. Entrants must have permission from the bill payer before entering the Competition.

We reserve the right to run bonus entry incentives via SMS or Online throughout the duration of the Competition. Where we operate an incentive, the Phone entry limit may change.

ITEM 7: ENTRANT RESTRICTIONS

The Competition is only open to people aged 18 and over who: (i) live in the United Kingdom, (ii) are not a Bauer employee or their immediate family (including live-in partner) and (iii) are not an employee of any third-party sponsors or prize providers, or their immediate family (including live-in partner).

Entrants must enter using a valid UK mobile number. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that permits any person to enter any Competition repeatedly, or make multiple simultaneous entries, is prohibited.

All entrants must enter on their own behalf and may not enter on behalf of anyone else.  If we later become aware that the person who played the competition was not the entrant themselves, we will disqualify this entrant and no prize will be payable to any persons involved.

ITEM 8: WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT

Entrants who are randomly selected will be contacted by the phone number provided with their entry. This may be live on air or off-air. Due to programming schedules, this may not be broadcast on all participating radio stations. 

All callers are randomly selected in the same way and any off-air recording will only ever take place after the entries have closed. The name, hometown, photo and any video or audio recording of the winner may also be posted on the Promoter’s Website and / or social media platforms.

By entering the Competition, the entrant is automatically consenting to being called and having their name and location announced on-air.

Entrants are only able to win a single prize throughout the duration of this Competition. Also, if an entrant has won £500 or more in any Bauer Media Competition over the past 6 months they are not eligible to win. For more details on this, please see item 4.11  ”Prize Limits”  of the Bauer Media Group Competition General Terms & Conditions.

ITEM 9: PRIZE DETAILS

The Prize will always be a cash amount that will be delivered to a winner paid in cash, by bank transfer or by cheque.

Delivery or payment of the Prize is subject to the winner providing personal identification and / or proof of address and to internal compliance checks within 14 days of being contacted. 

If we are unable to contact a winner to award a prize within 14 days of the Draw date, or if the winner is unable to provide us with personal identification and / or proof of address within 14 days of being contacted, the winner forfeits entirely their right to the prize, and we reserve the right to award this to an alternative winner where possible.

The Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged. Payment of the Prize may take up to 28 days from the point at which the Promoter receives the correct details.

Where, it emerges after the Prize has been awarded that the entrant was in breach of these terms and conditions, we reserve the right to withdraw the Prize from that winner and they will not be entitled to any further reward or remuneration. We reserve the right to exclude individuals who breach our terms and conditions from entering our competitions.

ITEM 10: DATA PROTECTION

By entering the Competition, entrants are automatically consenting to receiving marketing communications from the Promoter via SMS text message. Entrants can opt out of this at any time by texting: STOP to 61025, 61054, 63103, 64100, 65115 or 81215. This will be charged at 1 standard network rate message. If entrants do not wish to receive any marketing communications, they will need to do this after each time they re-enter the Competition. Entrants personal data will (regardless of whether they opt-out) always be used to process their entry. ITEM 11: INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONSENT

Entrants will not be put through to speak on-air if we think they are driving illegally, intoxicated, likely to swear, or otherwise offend our listeners. Whilst on air for the purposes of this competition entrants must not use foul language, swear, say or do anything defamatory or illegal or say or do anything which would damage the reputation of the Promoter, is offensive or inappropriate or which would cause us, or our listeners, harm. Failure to comply will result in disqualification, and if the entrant has won the prize, this will be forfeited.

It is a condition of entry to all our Competitions that we have the right to publish and/or broadcast the first name, home town, character, likeness and voices of Competition entrants and winners.  

In particular, entrants consent to their entries to radio Competitions being read out on-air and/or to their conversations with our presenters or playing of a Competition being broadcast on-air and communicated to the public on our website/social media pages or otherwise, in our sole discretion. For clarity, we may also record and store audio recordings of entrants off-air which may be broadcast on-air at a later time at our sole discretion. 

Entrants, particularly prize winners and their guests if applicable, may be required to supply a photo of themselves or to participate in photo, recording, video and/or filming session(s). You agree that we shall have the right to use all the resulting publicity materials in any media and in any manner, we see fit, unless you advise us at the time of entering the Competition that you wish to retain your anonymity. You agree that the Promoter (or any third party nominated by the Promoter) may in its sole discretion use the winner's (and if applicable their guest's) name and image and their comments relating to the prize and their experience for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being due.

ITEM 12: OTHER CONDITIONS

We will only accept entries that comply with our terms and conditions and we may disqualify the entrant if we know or suspect that they have breached them. If the disqualification occurs after a winner has been announced, one further entrant from all of the valid entries of that Entry Period will be selected by automated random draw and awarded the Prize.

All our decisions relating to the Competition and/or awarding of prizes are final. No discussions or correspondence with entrants or any other person will be entered into about the operation of this Competition. We have the right to cancel, amend, terminate or suspend this Competition if forced to do so due to circumstances outside our control.

I think it's a share of £1 million, presumably over the length of the competition. Monday's prize is £50,000.
