When exactly did your mother reach state pension age?
If pre 6/4/2016, what exactly is shown on her increase in benefit letter for 24/5?
When exactly was your mother receiving CB?0 -
It was 2018 she reached her pension age
She was getting child benefit from 1978 till 1995.0 -
There are lots of HRP related questions here, so perhaps add your question? https://community.hmrc.gov.uk/customerforums/ni/14bd569d-c46d-ee11-a81c-002248c816fd#6652feb9-956e-ee11-9ae7-00224841f0d0Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!0

I don't see why your mother should be expected to know the NI numbers of her late/ex husbands.
Is there some suggestion that they were claiming the CB?
Presumably it is possible to produce the children's birth certificates - does she still have any paperwork at all to show that she was receiving CB for those years?

No, they is no suggestion anyone else was claiming CB for us.
Yeah all have our birth certificates.
She had definitely being told by hmrx she needs that information to process the claim.
She 70years old now,
No hasn't got Amy paper work. Who would after all this time.
It shouldn't be put on my mother or anyone else to provide information like this. It should of being updated years ago correctly.

Who would after all this time.
You'd be surprised what people have squirrelled away in drawers/old shopping bags etc.
I think that she will need to explain the circumstances and produce what she has (the birth certificates) and see what happens.

My wife got her HRP claim checked based on her own NI number plus the names and NI numbers of the children she was looking after during the period she was not working. These are the details they need for HRP. Previous husbands is related to a different type of claim.0
