  • You mentioned salary sacrifice car payments, which if you are paying over £5k per year, you should be eligible yes already without having to put more in the pension pot.

    Not if the OP is quoting £105k as the taxable figure on his payslip, which will be after salary sacrifice.

    Hi,

    I'm trying to work out my ANI and incredibly confused despite much internet searching...

    I have my salary of £80K plus car BIK of (lets say) £10K so £90K... but then:

    - I pay my pension contribution of £266.67 pcm before tax is deducted. This is matched by my employer but I do not see that on a payslip. 
    - I pay a contribution towards my company car of £163.09 pcm after tax is deducted. 

    A few other small items with dental and insurance cover also but using the simple example above, does any one know what my ANI is!!?
