I'm trying to work out if I have been paid right in a new job. How do I turn my weekly gross pay to my salary? Thank you

hourly rate  * contracted hours = weekly gross basic pay

    weekly gross pay * 52.14   = annual  basic pay   ( 52.14 =365 / 7)

annual pay / number of pay days  in a year  - 12 if  monthly  / 13 if  lunar / 4 weekly  =  pay period gross basic  pay

If your question is about the first part payment of what will become a fixed monthly salary then it will to some degree depend on your employers rules.
