Section 75 help

August 22 I purchased a used car from an online car company. Reported within the 14day period of issues with the car. Despite following the sellers advice, car did not get sorted.(alot of running around told to do X Y Z. Book it in to dealership etc. Vehicle was off road for in total 5 months.  We started a complaint with seller and the took it up with credit card company under section 75 diring this tome off road

Section 75 started back in December 2022 but for what ever reason it is now only now that they are actually looking into complaint but now saying its the finance company's responsibility to sort out.

Is this correct considering we paid £1500 on a credit card?

    The answer would be, it depends.

    Who are the "online car company"?
    Who are the "finance company"?
    Who did you pay the deposit to?
    Have you raised a formal complaint with the online car company?
    Have you raised a complaint and/or S75 case with the finance company?
    What do you mean by "and the took it up with the credit card company", what/who is "the"?
