Why isn't there a 'GET A LIFE' button as well as a 'THANKS' button. The OP was being helpful and has been thanked by far more people than have criticised for a duplicate post.

So show some goodwill and seasonal spirit at this time of year and only post when you have some thing constructive and polite to say.
  • These post are going to be repeated as you could spend literally hours trawling through a search to find if it has already been posted. Not everyone has the time to visit as regularly as they would like. If you miss a day on the forums then you can spend hours catching up on various parts of the forum. If it was posted on the weekly email (and i have no reason to doubt that it was not :) )then i missed it that week although i was lucky enough to see the original post.
  • It's far from perfect, but the RSS feeds on this site will help you catch up when you've been away:

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=391718#post391718

And use Google to search MSE, which is far better than the site's actual search engine. Just stick a "site:forums.moneysavingexpert.com" (without the quotes) after your keywords on www.google.co.uk
Next post follows in a moment ...

I e-mailed Quidco about that a few days ago as I'm experiencing the same error message, but am still waiting for a response. I'm not going to purchase the membership if the link's not working.

I said the same in the original thread, it's a bit of a con 9 months for the price of 12. I can't find any properties open for more than 9 months of the year. Ideally we could have gone today as the weather is so naff.

If you read your NT Book you will find lots of Gardens open all year, but not many properties.

I had exactly the same problem yesterday as the join online links on the page you first visit after Quidco include the problem code but found I could proceed by following these steps: -
    1. Click on 'Become a member' in the left hand grey bar
    2. Click on 'Join Online' in the expanded grey menu on the left hand side or the 'Join online' link on the right hand side under the 'Special offer - join online today' heading.
I was then able to proceed without the 'Invalid promotional code' error you describe. You still get the same discount and free picnic rug. I am not sure if it affects Quidco because my transactions have not yet tracked (only done last night). I will advise when it tracks.

    Good luck.
