I buy olive oil in 5l tins and only ever buy Greek but out of interest which one do you buy at Costco? I could only see plastic bottles on the site but could be looking in the wrong place? I’m not a member so just seeing if it is worth me joining. Do they do San mazarno tomatoes?MrsStepford said:@prowla I have been using Costco as an online member for a couple of years now. I buy certified Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil in 2 litre jugs and trays of 12 x 400g organic chopped tomatoes from the Valfrutta co-operative and save a tonne of money. Costco can beat Currys and Amazon for electrical goods too.Thank youI’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. I buy the Kirkland certified Italian Extra Virgin olive oil. Sometimes buy the Filippo Berio organic as well. Plastic bottles are okay if the oil is cold pressed. I haven't looked for San Marzano tomatoes as we buy trays of the Valfrutta co-operative organic tomatoes. San Marzano are stocked in American Costcos though and Bobby Parrish of FlavCity is a big fan. There's more stock in store than there is online so maybe you would find some. I need to find a good online Greek deli as the olive oil I've had in Greece was great. I don't rate Spanish olive oil.1

Thank you, I buy my Greek oil from Amazon and my friend reuses the cans for garden ornaments as I don’t like buying plastic unless I have to. My friend is a member so I might go with her and see what’s instore.MrsStepford said:I buy the Kirkland certified Italian Extra Virgin olive oil. Sometimes buy the Filippo Berio organic as well.
