Pay back 2023/2024

Been victim of the high income child benefit tax since 2015. 23/24 is the first year I’ve stepped over the £60k mark.
Although the earnings cap has finally been raised as inflation has every year for next financial year, does this mean that all next years benefit I will receive will be basically to pay all last years back?

Next year's payments won't be set off against last year's charge if that is what you mean.
