Halifax mortgage offers - valuation booked

Hello 🙂

First timer poster but i follow these groups and always find the info really helpful so here goes…

My partner and I put in our joint mortgage application last wednesday with halifax via a broker, all checked done and valuation was booked in on friday, for tomorrow 20th march

How soon after valuation can we expect to hear if we are getting an offer? 

It’s our little ones birthday this week so we are hoping for a double celebration 🤞🏻

With a following wind you may get an offer Thursday or Friday.

As far as I am aware Halifax do not co-ordinate offers with birthdays as a policy.

Our offer was 7 days later via broker for Halifax

08/03 DIP approved with halifax 
11/03 reserved new build 
13/03 mortgage application processed via broker for halifax
14/03 broker advised valuation booked for 19/03
19/03 valuation delayed 
20/03 valuation completed
20/03 mortgage offered 🙂
