Is anyone on here still not received any pension from LGPS....I retired 2 mths ago at 67 and still waiting on a monthly payment....did hear some grumblings that there is a backlog and their new online portal and PIC codes are not working correctly...this delay could cause hardship....

Which LGPS? If West Midlands, then they are having major IT problems which has led to a huge backlog. Looks like they are prioritising hardship cases, but it will take time to catch up.Bea63 said:Is anyone on here still not received any pension from LGPS....I retired 2 mths ago at 67 and still waiting on a monthly payment....did hear some grumblings that there is a backlog and their new online portal and PIC codes are not working correctly...this delay could cause hardship....
If not West Midlands, then do you have AVCs? If yes, then they can easily add 2 months onto pay-out times due to having to wait for the AVC provider to disinvest the funds and pay them across to the LGPS.
Or did you leave mid-month? If that's the case, then payroll can't close your pay account and supply your LGPS until the end of month payroll has been finalised. ie, leave 15 Jan, and those 15 days will be on the Jan payroll. Pay account won't be closed/final pay details produced until first week in Feb. That's likely to be too late to meet the Feb pension payroll, so looking at end of March for the earliest possible payment date.

It looks like they have sorted out the worst of the IT problems and are now working through the backlog.
Unfortunately, it looks like you may be waiting for some time yet - I know it doesn't sound like it, but nothing for 2 months isn't unusual in the best of times
