A question occurred to me this morning...
At what point do I contact my lenders and request correspondence be made in writing? Should I be doing that now that I've missed one payment?Tilly Tidy 2024 = £88.99 / £2000 -

I think the main things to remember here are to ensure that you don't give them any more detail than they already have - so keep it very simple. Sign off with your first and surnames, write your address precisely as they have it already. Don't be tempted to add anything else that they don't already have, and if you are sending any hard copy letters personally I would not be inclined to use my "normal" signature. Just print your name. This avoids the risk of signatures being reproduced to create "documents you have signed" as you will then know immediately if they try that!
Literally though as Sourcrates puts it - just a paragraph instructing them on your requirements is all that is needed. I would also add that further telephone calls will be viewed as harassment.

Does anyone have an email address for virgin money please? I can't find one and they've started trying to call me. I need to ask them quickly to maintain contact only in writing. TIA

So sorry I don’t have their email address. For now, just block their number from your phone. Anything that is legally important for them to tell you, they will have to write to you. Phone calls are just the first thing they do to persuade you to engage with them and pay.1
