hi all,
has anyone had any luck with getting debts written off due to job loss? We've been informed that our business is closing in at the end of the month. Haven't worked there long enough for any decent payout and am in panic mode right now as there's still a considerable amount of debt against me.
I'm looking for jobs and literally applying for anything and everything, any advice is welcome!

People have, after not being able to make repayments, getting defaults on the credit history etc. You cannot just phone up and say your being made redundant in April and expect them to write off the debt in anticipation of that.0
