Reporting Losses on Shares

Good Morning,

Ive scoured the internet to try and find an answer but have failed so far.
I don't complete a self assessment form due to PAYE however I have sold a number of shares and have made a capital loss on them.  In order to utilise this loss going forward, I need to report this to HMRC.

Is there a form to fill in or is it just a case of sending them a letter?  Where would I send this letter and how do I identify myself would it be my NI number.

I know that with the reduction in CGT I will need to use those losses sometime in the future.

Thanks

    Use your NI number:

    From HMRC:

    Reporting losses:

Claim for your loss by including it on your tax return. If you've never made a gain and are not registered for Self Assessment, you can write to HMRC instead. You do not have to report losses straight away - you can claim up to 4 years after the end of the tax year that you disposed of the asset.
