Fence responsibility for end-terrace that isn't neighbour dividing fence.

I'm in a social housing end-terraced property (housing association). I'm under the impression that the diving fence from my neighbour, to my left as I look out from house to street, is my responsibility. What about the fence that runs down the side of my house that faces a public footpath? My responsibility or the landlords?
Thanks for any help on this.

The "fence on the left" thing is kind of a generally-accepted rule of thumb, but actually has no basis in law - the only way you can tell for sure is to look at what the deeds say.But that aside, probably more relevant in your particular situation is what your rental agreement says - it should state who is responsible for each aspect of maintenance (you personally or your landlord).0

I thought the same about the left thing only to find from the deeds that as end property the one by the road was my responsibility and half and half on the dividing fence which seemed a bit unfair.
Current property the one on the left is mine, the right my neighbours one.
So without the deeds it might be in your t&cs.I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!
