Cutting tree unregistered land

It is a "Section 159 Notice".
I suspect the Council Officers have not tried that hard to identify the owner of the land.

Does your LA website have a search function within it?  If so, does that guide you to the appropriate department?

It can sometimes be the case that Council Officers take umbrage if contact is via a Councillor too early as some Council Officers see that as a complaint / failure.  However, I suspect you will need to contact a Councillor over this as it seems as though the Council Officers won't achieve the result you are seeking or, indeed, any actual conclusive result.

Having exhausted opportunities to get support from both the Highways and the Parks departments at the local Council, I have contacted my local Councillor and asked for help. Let's see if something happens
