Multiple applications..

Hello...
I applied for a mortgage through a lender (X) 6 weeks ago.. the MB I used had to 'push' through an application as I passed the initial checks but it wouldnt let them proceed to Full Application. Surprise surprise, this application failed..
I swiftly moved onto a new broker who I have used before and they got me a Mortgage with a Lender and I received the Mortgage Offer but annoyingly we cant proceed with them as they do not support the scheme I am using (Despite them confirming in writing that they do prior to application!!!)
I am now re applying to the first lender (X) under a new Broker. My MB has got me a DIP and also sent me the Full Application without a hickup. They are confident I should be fine but I am worried that the first application may hinder this one?. I am requesting to borrow less than my hyperthetical amount.. Am I likely to pass?
I am panicking as I am already so far behind in the legal process and the Developer is chasing me and I do not want to lose the house.

I wouldn't worry. You have a genuine reason why you have another offer and you can't redeem them both so it shouldn't matter. I had two valid offers at one time before and it caused no problems0

I am in the same boat...mine was pushed through with wrong dates and wrong term for 38 years, I am currently 38, so wouldn't go for more than 30 years. Also they put wrong dates of defaults, which lender later found out and it was declined. Now we are meeting criteria and re-applying. Fingers crossed this time will be OK.0

Thank you.. I am panicking as we can afford the mortgage but the first MB I used managed to mess up something which meant when he 'pushed' the application through manually the Lender rejected it instantly and we are now applying with this Lender again... only been 2 days since we re applied so hopefully we hear good news next weekhousebuyer143 said:I wouldn't worry. Are you re applying with the same lender? Who is the lender? Very similar to us...JustMe18 said:I am in the same boat...mine was pushed through with wrong dates and wrong term for 38 years, I am currently 38, so wouldn't go for more than 30 years. The lender have now verified my income. Is this good news? Am I likely to hear back soon?0
