Good morning, thanks for starting NMLC.
I've just lost a longish post, that's the second time this week. I can't bear to do it all again though.
Sending thoughts to Nanny, Hope her op went well.
Also thoughts to others who are poorly or sad.
Take care folks.9 -
Morning All
Dry this morning so the washing can go out before I go to work. Coal man delivering, plumber calling to see if he can fix the bath plug and it's bin day - so much happening when I'm at work!
Hope Nanny's op went well.
Hoping your appointment went ok Scarlett.
How are the snoozer's today?
How sad your DM was conned Ruby.
Got a big job out of the way at work yesterday, apart from a few incidents it's been fairly calm and the boss was out all day yesterday!
Hugs to those in need, take care. XX10 -
Morning all. Could be another dry day ahead. 🤞🤞
Blood test and ECG were both swift and painless. I brought a sandwich to eat straight after it. When my cleaner came I went up to a wee cafe to have a very tasty toastie. This morning I'm going to my pool session though I feel that perhaps a cold is brewing. Perhaps it'll fade away. I've so many emails to reply to today so that'll be done this afternoon.I hope that poorlies and their families are feeling better, even if slightly.9 -
Morning everyone, it's a lot duller today after 2 lovely springlike days. I'm off out for lunch today, my favourite Italian at the retail park. Meeting an old friend, her son went to the same schools as our 2. I went to pick up DGS last night from school, waited and waited until I was practically the only one left on the yard so went to the office to ask. She went to find his teacher who said he'd gone to a competition at another school! DS had completely forgotten about it and had to finish a bit earlier to pick him up, fortunately it didn't finish until 5.30. He enjoyed it anyway so all's well.I made shepherds pie for tea, not sure about today as I might not need much after my lunch out.Hope all is well with you all x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Morning folks and thanks NMLC. It's positively tropical here at 4 deg! But I still have the heating on for a bit.. I don't think there is much in the way of sun forecast but at least no rain.
I have an appointment for a blood test this morning, prior to my review next week. I am undecided whether to come home afterwards or have a little trip to Ilkley as the surgery is on the bus route. It's a while since I had a browse around there.
I hope all went well for NAN yesterday Thinking of her and all our other poorlies, poorly loved ones, sad or lonely. Take care all, be safe

Take careIf you walk at night no-one will see you cry.9 -
Morning all.
I'm a bit bleary eyed this morning as I didn't get home until 1am due to traffic problems on the M1. They had 4 lanes feeding down into 1 because of roadworks and it took me nearly 3 hours to do a 1hr journey.
I'm due to meet friends for coffee at 10.30am so I've skipped breakfast; we usually have toasted tea cakes and a good natter when we meet up.
Hope everyone's day goes well.9 -
Morning everyone
I had my oven cleaned yesterday - it looks like new. Today I have someone coming to hopefully fix the washing machine - it's not spinning properly, though it sounds as if it is. They're due between now and 10 to 12, so I'm hoping they're early so I can get down to work on time. If not, I've arranged for one of the others to stay until I get there.
Little one has gone to school dressed as a ladybird for World Book day - they had to go dressed as a word - she's 'spotty.'
Better get some jobs done. I hope everyone has a good day x9 -
Morning allI missed yesterday in a blur of dentist, errands and haircuts! However I have woken up in gorgeous sunny Eryri (Snowdonia) after driving here yesterday afternoon - it’s a chilly night though. Just off to meet friends, walk to a waterfall and have lunch before the longish drive home.Hoping all the poorlies get better soon and everyone had a lovely day

Morning all
Dry here and we are promised a bit of sun today, it’s my Birthday today and dd is taking me out for a pub lunch in a very old beautiful pub my mum and sister are coming too dd is driving so I shall have a glass or two of wine 😃
I will walk the dogs before we go out and dd will have a quick tidy round, we will do presents tonight when OH gets home, I’ve got OH a curry ready meal as we probably won’t want much, unfortunately he couldn’t have the day off as they are at a crucial point in the build of the house he is working on.
We might have a walk around a few shops after lunch or maybe a visit to a garden centre.
I hope everything went well for Nan and she is now recovering xxx
Have good days all and take care xx
