Hi we are just in the final stages of buying our new house. We have mortgage offer with Coventry, have noticed they did a hard search in January before the offer. What appears strange is that the search is no longer there.
My main question, does anyone know if Coventry Building Society do a final check before completion.
On reading small print, it appears that they check circumstances may have changed for example loss of job or secured borrowing, which we don't have. We did have however need to take out small CC to cover expenses for the house sale.
