How many weeks do I need to work before I get holiday pay.

1. Are you a worker or an employee?
2. do you have a contract which specifies your weekly / monthly hours ?
3.what is the policy of the organisation in question aobut taking holiday during your probationary period / first year with the organisation ?
4. if you are noew to the organisation are there any leave restrictions during training / probationary period ?

Holiday pay starts from day one. Being allowed to take holidays is a different thing.
Some employers include your holiday pay in your hourly pay so that when you actually take time off work you're not getting paid. However it is lawful to pay holiday pay (based on the hours worked in the pay period) at the same time as regular pay but have it shown as a separate line on the payslip. In that case, if holiday is taken then there is no additiional pay.1
