I tried entering one of the Sunday Pets comps again about ten minutes ago and it hasn't bounced yet.

  • That's brilliant, well done.  :)
Hopefully that shows they are still accepting email entries.

They're still not advertising the email entry route in the paper, but I've been entering via it since it was reactivated and have just received a WEM telling me I've won £50 on the Arroword. I guess it could be for an older one, but it's been over four weeks since they stopped advertising that route, and you'd think any before would have been drawn by now.
    Well done on the win.

Got The Sun today and you can now enter online at thesun.co.uk/prizepuzzles
There's a form to fill out with the answers and your details. The only problem is you have to agree to cookies or pay to reject them.

I still emailed the answers and they haven't bounced yet so it may be that both entry routes will be available, or they may stop the email entry again.
Thanks. Just entered on the site and it's much easier / quicker doing all three together on there.

It's only going to get worse as the price of stamps continue to go up and the service gets worse. It won't be too long before the cost of postage is higher than paying for an entry. At which point it will make sense for everyone to have postal as the "free" entry route because it'll be cheaper to enter via all the paid and profitable routes while still remaining legal.
True.  And maybe I'm thick, but I still don't understand how postal entries are classed as "Free"!??   If I'm paying for a stamp, what makes that any different from paying for a phone call or text?  I would still have to spend money on entering, by all of these routes.  I just don't get it. 🤬
"Free" does not and never has meant zero cost - there must be no additional charge to enter a competition on top of the normal charge for using a service be that post, local phone call etc. (in many cases for multiple entries it already works out cheaper to enter on-line rather than send several postal entries - winhappy £4 for 8 entries through to £20 for 120 entries). Don't be surprised if at some point the weekly magazines become postal with an online fee to enter (depends if a sales loss would be off set by extra income)
I entered fine last week on line but can't now, other than posting. I'll have to save the stamps for posting my Christmas cards because I won't be sending a postal entry to The Sun.
