DELAYS IN RECEIVING PENSION FROM AON

    it could also be an annuity purchase with the third party being the agent they use to buy an annuity.  it could be several other things.   So, until the OP returns to tell us what the transaction actually is, then we are all just speculating.

  • The pension is an occupational one with AVCs. I am concerned that I am making no progress with AON.  I was told that AON were in possession of the funds and then, a week later, that they don’t have them.  It is now a month since I emailed them and I have had no response.  And it is now four months since my pension was due.  I don’t know who else to contact to try and get an indication when I will actually receive it.

    Is this a defined benefit pension scheme with  AVC run in conjunction  with the scheme by one of the big insurers (Prudential/Standard Life/ L&G etc?

    Are you a deferred member of this scheme?

    Do you have on line access to this pension via the AON web site?
