These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry and claim instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by participating, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.

This promotion is only open to legal residents of the United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland aged 18 or over.
This promotion excludes employees and their immediate families of Mattel and Smyths Toys, their agencies, or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.
No purchase is necessary to enter the promotion.
Internet access is required to participate in the promotion.
Only entries via scanning a QR code and visiting the official website will be accepted.
Promotion Period: The promotion is open for entries from 00.01 on 28 February 2024 until 23.59 on 12 March 2024.
To enter, customers must visit a Smyths Toys store and scan the promotional QR code to access the promotional website (win-barbie65-smyths.com). Customers can also access the promotional website by clicking through from social media. Once on the site, entrants must enter their name and email address to reveal whether they are a winner. In the event of any issues when using the site, customers should email Win-Barbie65-Smyths@element-london.com for assistance.
Each customer can enter a maximum of five times per day during the Promotion Period.
The total value of the prize pool in this promotion is £65,000 (approx. €76,000).
Winners of instant-win prizes will be notified instantly on screen and by email that they have won.
The winner of the Grand Prize will be selected in a final prize draw of all valid entrants from the Promotion Period. This prize draw will take place on 13 March 2024 via a randomised computer process.
Grand Prize: There is 1 grand prize, which consists of a bespoke family holiday of the winner’s choice, up to a maximum value of £9,000.
1. The Promoter will appoint their Prize Provider to act as the winner’s personal experience advisor who will provide expert and impartial advice to provide travel, accommodation, excursions and other activities requested by the winner to the value of £9,000.
2. Trips and experiences must be booked through the Prize Provider and once an itinerary has been agreed with the winner any transfers, meals and drinks, excursions, attractions, treatments, car hire, personal expenses, and all other costs and arrangements not expressly included in the itinerary will be at the expense of the winner.
3. The trip must be booked within one year of winner notification and once booked any amendments will be at the expense of the winner. No cash alternative will be offered.
4. Where the trip involves foreign travel, winner and companion(s) are responsible for obtaining a current and valid passport and any other relevant travel documentation required for travel to their chosen destination at their own expense. The winner must also make sure that the travelling party has any required vaccinations, health certificates, visas and other documentation necessary to complete the itinerary at the time of travel.
5. Where hotel accommodation is included in the trip, the winner will need a current and valid credit/debit card with sufficient available funds in order to check in at the hotels for security deposit purposes.
6. The prize does not include travel insurance. Where the trip involves foreign travel, travel insurance must be taken out prior to travel by the winner. The Prize Provider will not organise travel to countries or areas where the British Foreign & Commonwealth Office advise against travel.
7. At least one traveller must be aged 18 or over. For travel to the USA, at least one traveller must be aged 21 or over. Prior to booking the itinerary the Prize Provider will inform the winner of any age restrictions and other terms and conditions that may apply to individual elements of their chosen itinerary. It is the responsibility of the winner to adhere to such further terms and conditions including without limitation applicable health and safety guidelines.
8. The Prize Provider is Element London Ltd. Any personal data submitted by the winner to the Prize Provider will be treated in accordance with Prize Provider’s privacy policy, which is accessible at https://element-london.com/element-london-privacy-policy-travel-english/

Instant Win Prizes: During the Promotion Period, there are a total of 650 Instant Win prizes to be won. Each prize includes ONE of the following items, which will be randomly allocated throughout the promotion:

Delivery is available to addresses within the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland only; Prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable; No cash alternative is available; All prizes are subject to availability. Winner Notification: Winners will be contacted by email within 7 days of their prize win. It is the responsibility of the winner to supply the correct personal information to claim the prize. The Promoter will not be liable for the non-delivery of the prize caused by the provision of wrong information.
Prizes that are undelivered or returned to sender will be deemed unwanted and the prize will be forfeited. The prize will not be re-allocated.

No responsibility can be taken for entries which are misdirected, lost, delayed, damaged or corrupted during delivery to or from the Promoter due to any computer malfunction, virus, bug, delay or other reason whatsoever. The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information supplied to the Promoter by the claimant in the application.
To the fullest extent permissible by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered or sustained as a result of participation in the promotion or use of any prize.
There are no other prize alternatives available in whole or in part and for a non-cash prize, no cash alternatives except in the event of circumstances outside of its control, when the Promoter reserves the right to substitute similar alternatives of equal or greater value. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Promoter the prizes will only be awarded directly to the winners.
The Promoter’s decision is final with regard to all promotional matters and no correspondence will be entered into. By participating in the promotion, entrants accept these terms & conditions and are bound by all the rules in full.
The Promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion, to eliminate or disqualify any entries or entrants that it regards as being in breach of these conditions or the spirit of the promotion.
In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion or the awarding of prizes, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these terms and conditions, at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimize the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries and the winners and to refuse to award a prize or withdraw a prize entitlement or refuse further participation in the promotion where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of this promotion’s entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means. The Promoter will not accept competition entries that are (a) automatically generated; or (b) completed by third parties or in bulk. These participants will be disqualified and any prize entitlement will be void. The Promoter will be the final arbiter in any decisions and these will be binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
Any information collected regarding entrants into this promotion will be treated in confidence and will not be disclosed to any third party for marketing purposes unless the Promoter has consent. Entrants have a right to access, modify or remove their personal data by contacting the Promoter directly.

Prizes are being provided by Mattel (in association with Element London) and Smyths Toys accepts no responsibility whatsoever for any inaccuracy of any prize description and/or fulfilment of said promotion.
Insofar as permitted by law, Smyths Toys will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate a prize winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Smyths Toys. Your statutory rights are not affected.
This Promotion is governed by English law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
