Consent Online

Looking for some advice. In the process of remortgaging with Simply Lending. Have been sent a link for Consent online to access our bank statements. Not keen on authorising a third party to look at my account. Can I request to send copies of bank statements directly rather than via Consent online??

Many thanks.

I know the owner of simply (they are trustworthy - I got them to do my brothers mortgage as I dont like to mix work and family), this is a system they have developed in house. But yes, you can send in bank statements instead.

  • Thanks for the replies - I called them and they are happy to accept emailed bank statements :) They have been brilliant so far - keeping our fingers firmly crossed for a good outcome!

My system has this feature as well and its rarely used as most people have a similar reaction to you.   Its all the same data but somehow feels more intrusive to look at them directly
