It sounds like you are keener than your husband to get this settled, so you would probably need to settle for less than you would get if you went to court. Nevertheless, it will help you to know what you are entitled to. Send a copy to your husband, so he can see that, too. It's a fairly technical document, but hopefully not beyond people who worked for the CAA.
Obviously, you both benefit enormously by NOT going to court. Your joint costs could easily amount to £50k. The cost of the CEV is just the tip of the iceberg.

As far as I can see, the OP wants to be bought out of the marital home which is worth around £500,000.
Her husband has only £100,000 in cash/investments.
Perhaps they should approach the equity release providers as soon as possible to see what is on offer?1
