Creation account query

I took out some credit via "Creation" in order to spread the cost of a B&Q kitchen that we were having installed.  I thought this would be a good MSE thing to do as while we have the money in the bank it's earning at 5% whereas the Creation account is being paid off over 4 years at 0%.  I have no doubts that we can afford it.

But I had some issues with some of the items ordered for the kitchen and needed to return them.  Now as they'd been purchased using the Creation account they only receipt I have is on an email from B&Q.  And since it's such a huge list of items (basically every screw and hinge is itemised separately) it's a right pain to try to reconcile what's been purchased and what's been returned.

So I looked at the Creation account on line and saw that according to the T&Cs I would start receiving statements on my account 2 months after the account was set up.  That was more than 3 months ago and nothing yet is showing so I have no way of know what amount had been added or refunded on the account.

I mentioned this when I was taking some items back to the store yesterday and then said that they'd heard about this from a number of customers and the best that they can figure is that you don't get any statements until you have paid everything back.  Which for me will be in 4 years time.

Surely that can't be right and in keeping with FCA rules that no statements are available for such a long period.  If it is true then there's something to be concerned about given they keep encouraging you to buy more and increase your credit limit and so potentially if you were always running a balance you would never get a statement.

Anyone else had experience of these accounts??

Certainly on Bank accounts & credit cards a annual statement is mandated by FCA, which I would take would be the same for a loan.

I would contact Creation & raise it as a issue. Even going as far as a complaint if required.
