Hi everyone, this is my 1st post. I have an old debt with Llyods bank which i have not had contact with for probably 10 years and no longer have any account with since 2007, the debt has been sold and just recently i have been getting letters at least 1 a week rom a debt agency called - Opos. The original debt was for £5700 and they are now offering me a settlement of £1400 to clear and debt be settled. I have not made any contact with Opos or sent any correspondence to any company ref this debt for over 8 years. Can i send Opos a SAR or just ignore them. ?? Appreciate any advice

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
