I was dropping in to pass comment on the support that Ohme provides - I raised an issue with them nearly two weeks ago, and am underwhelmed by the response. Took them over a week to respond to the ticket I logged (and I think they only did that because I raised a second one). 10% of one star reviews over on Trust Pilot does not give me any confidence that my (minor) issue will be resolved any time soon.

Another downside to the Ohme charger is that it relies on a 4g mobile phone network to provide the "smart" functions. If you are in a dodgy area for signal, Ohme may not be the best choice. And whilst the cost of the sim is covered for the first three years, after that, there is a £2 per month charge.

With the above in mind, Zappi is a smart choice.

Yes, I have an Ohme charger and the "app" has been a nightmare, giving me lots of trouble ... for the last 6 months.

Today for example, (after a lot of trial and fail.. ), I set it to accept up to 12p pricing (Zeus is blowing the windmills at full power 😉, variable pricing paradise). I looked at the app and it said nothing available, wait for tomorrow´s pricing (available in 7 hours). Still all the pricing periods this morning were below 4p - according to the same Ohme app!

I tried restarting the charge session in the car, restart their app, reboot from the RCD, nothing fixed it, not immediately. I am seriouslt tempted to plug the slow but reliable charger that came with the car! 

I agree with your comment about their support desk. And at best their developers are all asleep, the Ohme app says no price below max available. Just after one tap, you can see several.. 😡
