How do I receive a full state pension ?

'It seems unlikely that this pension does not bring her above the basic amount of PC.
The previous poster was mentioning not pricing yourself out of benefits.
The Pension Credit amount for a single person is £201.05 a week.
SP is not paid monthly but four weekly - if you are receiving £787.20 every four weeks then your weekly amount is £196.80.
You mention that you are in receipt of an occupational pension - it seems very unlikely that this would work out at under £4.25 a week so that assuming that you have no disabilities etc, you would already be priced out of Pension Credit.
Your current weekly SP is £6.40 under a full new state pension.
It looks to be the case that with regard to the old rules calculation, your "Contracted Out Deduction" was higher than your Additional State Pension.
You mention that you have an occupational pension - was the scheme contracted out and were you a member of the scheme between 1978 and 1997?
Was the scheme a private company scheme?
Was this a deferred pension (you left employment before Normal Scheme Pension Age)?
If so, were you given a statement of deferred benefits showing a Guaranteed Minimum Pension?
It seems to me that the likeliest explanation of your situation is that your "COD" was high enough to cancel out any ASP in the first calculation and to reduce the NSP in the second calculation to below a full basic.
You didn't have quite enough years from 6/4/16 to the last full tax year before SPA to make enough contributions to bring you to a full NSP.
Why not ring to find out whether you can improve your pension? It may not be possible.
