Consent to Let Remortgaging

I have a consent to let on my property but I now wish to remortgage to move from my tracker to a fixed rate.It was originally a residential mortgage but I got a posting to move abroad with my job and was given consent to let. I will be living abroad for another year or so although I receive a UK salary. Would i be able to change my mortgage and then ask for another consent to let even though I am not living in the UK presently?
